About Me (Dawn) aka Mrs Scrubbit

25 years ago I qualified as a Registered General Nurse from Charles Frears School of Nursing. As a registered general nurse, I am definitely not shy of hard work.  I worked as a respiratory nurse dealing with patients that had a wide range of health issues such as asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, and much more. That role included providing a wide variety of care from ensuring patients received their medications and delivering intravenous fluids and medications to providing high-dependency patients with bipap and tracheostomy care. A fast-paced life but so rewarding.

Four years ago I studied for a degree with the Open University and obtained a BSc in Health Science which allowed me to embark on a career in pathology in the hope of becoming a biomedical scientist.  I managed to get a post at Kettering General Hospital in their pathology department and soon realised that the laboratory environment was not for me.

This gave me the idea to move on to work for myself. During my nursing training and my most recent degree studies, I always utilised my love of cleaning to support my family by earning a little extra money in exchange for my cleaning.  I love cleaning and received many compliments about my work from clients.

I am driven by a desire to help others, whilst providing for my family through hard work, dedication and reliability.
